Working towards the Euromediterranean future

Targets

The basic objective of BUSINESS EUMED is to create a powerful thinking and action network among entities, organisms, institutions, enterprises and individuals that aim to develop anyone of the following targets:

• Promoting activities and businesses all over the Union for the Mediterranean (UM)..
• Promoting peace, dialogue and socio-economical progress within the UM.
• Fostering R+D+4i (Research, Development, Innovation, Impact, Infraestructures, Identity), linking Universities and Business Schools.
• Developing the road, rail, aerial and sea transportation network along the UM.
• Promoting the interrelation of all kind of companies, organisms and institutions all over the UM.
• Consolidating a powerful economic area around the UM with a New Business Culture.
• To favour the creation of educational, communication and ICT development bodies covering the whole Union for the Mediterranean.
• To impel the artistic, cultural and scientific creation all over the UM.
• To promote the euromediterranean gastronomy, tourism and sport.

Generally speaking and starting from civil society initiatives, to promote activities in all fields of economics and human knowledge all over the territory of the Union for the Mediterranean focused to strengthen and to complement the actions of the Permanent Secretariat of the Union.

BUSINESS EUMED to act as a facilitator body, regarding the projects and actions developed by its members.

To convey the outlined goals and targets, the BUSINESS EUMED shall carry out several tasks in order to promote, to complement and to enhance the targets as well as the activities of its members.
